Adidas just dropped the first installment of their newest campaign and it’s seriously epic. To celebrate the newest Magmur Runner silhouettes, adidas Consortium partnered with various different brands in an exciting four-part campaign. Aptly titled Communitas, the project aims to involve local communities through collaboration with brands and photographers across the globe. Each series of images is distinct, showcasing each individual photographer’s creative vision and interpretation of the Communitas ethos.

“With Communitas, adidas Consortium is bringing those special communities to the fore. Over the course of the year, four new releases will launch that ‘lift up’ the communities from which they came,” adidas said in a press statement. “On one level, Communitas is centered around a collaborative design process – but it also provides a platform for highlighting local causes on an international scale; for promoting dialogue on the preservation of local cultures; for championing the individuals that combine to make our communities great.”

In the first campaign partnership, adidas linked up with NAKED, a Copenhagen-based retailer that fosters a creative spirit with a female-focused mission. NAKED collaborated with photographers Polina Vinogradova, Sarah Buthmann, and Petra Kleis to create three dynamic campaigns centered around the new editions of the Magmur Runner. The latest styles of the adidas Magmur Runner come in an on-trend white/cream, as well as a vibrant white/green/blue color story. The new styles will be available for purchase globally on March 16, 2019.
