The highly anticipated Adidas x Gucci collaboration has finally arrived and to celebrate, the House has launched immersive pop ups all over the world. In sunny Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue, you can find one of the kaleidoscope-esque pop ups designed by creative director Alessandro Michele. 

On Friday June 10, the ephemeral pop up spilled onto Melrose Place for a special two day immersive outdoor experience featuring bleachers, a basketball court, and picnic tables. Guests danced around the Adidas x Gucci street takeover while DJ Mazerbate and DJ Huney Cut took over the turntables.

Guests including St. Vincent, Jeremy Pope, Laura Love, Talullah Willis, Langley Fox, Soko, Lena Waithe, and Dree Hemingway were seen attending the event on Gucci’s Instagram.

Other guests in attendance were Bogdan Bogdanovic, Aurora James, Mallory Merk, Cleo Wade, Laura Whitcomb, and more.

Even the food and drink options were inspired by the vibrant colors and vintage aesthetics of the collection. Attendees sipped on refreshing watermelon cocktails, Calirose Sunrises, and Jello shots while there were performances by LA Roller Girls, Let’s Jump LA, and Dance LA Entertainment. 

The following day, Adidas x Gucci opened up the celebration to the public, inviting community members to dance around their nostalgic block party. Many pieces from the collection sold out hours after the pop up. Shop the Adidas x Gucci collaboration here.
