Pieter Mulier was appointed as the new Creative Director of Alaïa today in an announcement by Myriam Serrano, Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. The announcement sparks a new chapter for Alaïa, marking the first appointment of a new creative head since the 2017 passing of founder Azzedine Alaïa.

Mulier, who was most recently Global Creative Director of Calvin Klein, will make his debut at Alaïa with a Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The Belgian designer has previously worked for Raf Simons and Jill Sander, and was Design Director at Christian Dior.
