Alexander McQueen is in the mood for a reintroduction for their iconic Armadillo shoes. Initially unveiled in the memorable Plato’s Atlantis collection of 2010, these distinctive shoes, featuring a curve heel inspired by the armadillo’s protective shell, are making a triumphant return in the highly anticipated pre-spring/summer 2024 collection.

Crafted from soft faux leather, the focal point of the collection becomes a calf-high boot, distinguished by its draped and sculpted form. The reinvented classic is adorned with an exploded bow and a choice of gold, silver, or tonal lacquered curve heels.

But the collection doesn’t stop with the calf-high boots. Enter ankle and thigh-high boots with a pointed-toe structure, making a daring statement in black and silver leather and accentuated by contrasting lacquer curve heels. The Armadillo mule and pumps make their debut, available in a blend of black and white leather, showcasing the brand’s commitment to diversity in style. Meanwhile, the Twisted Armadillo sandal emerges in an array of options, from silver and gold metallic finishes to intricately embroidered designs. The Armadillo Naked sandal takes center stage, presented in supple black leather, and makes a bold statement with a contrast lacquer heel and the shoe’s signature metal bar.
