Collaborations between the late great Alexander McQueen and famed jewelry designer Shaun Leane brought some of the greatest fashion moments into public consciousness, from the SS98 skeleton corset to the AW96 crown of thorns. Their works together are even on display in a current exhibition at the Fashion Space Gallery.

To celebrate the famous collaborators, Sotheby’s is creating an exhibition for the archived pieces. The exhibit, A Life of Luxury, will open November 30, followed by a December 4 auction that will sell the impressive pieces to museums, collectors, and anyone who has the extra cash to spare.

“I believe that the collection represents a level of creative freedom that has no parallel today,” Leane said. “It is my hope that the endless inspiration and unadulterated joy that these pieces have brought to me… will now be shared with collectors, museums and institutes from around the world.”

In addition to including such iconic pieces as the Dante collection crown, the exhibition will also display such pieces as those created for Daphne Guinness and Isabella Blow.
