Echoing the hums of nature, Alexander McQueen has released a new version of their Seal bag with an iconic house emblem, based on a Tudor rose. The bag is entwined in two, combining the exploration of silhouettes as familiarised by the McQueen house codes, as well as curvilinear experimentation. In a campaign lensed by David Sims, supermodel Lui Wen, and French actress, singer-songwriter, and model Yseult star in an alluring ode to British royalty.

Developed by Creative Director Sarah Burton, the Seal Small bag is more compact for Autumn/Winter, with an elegant satchel shape crafted in soft Seal quilted leather. Details include an adjustable chain leather shoulder strap and cut-out metal McQueen ‘Seal’ closure dipped in either gold or silver metal. Similar to its predecessor, the Seal, the new bag has rounded edges with playful curved lines on both the central body and the hardware. Styling options include wearing it on the shoulder or as a crossbody.

Priced at $3,000, the Small Seal bag is offered in an exhibition of shades including a hypnotizing “Blood Red”, a staple “Black”, a silky “Soft Ivory”, and a confectionary “Dust”.
