As NYFW comes to a close, V has curated a list of the top events that took place during this past fashion show season that feature occasions hosted by brands such as Montblanc and YSL Beauty and celebrities including Elvis star Austin Bustler and everyone’s favorite, SZA.

TOMMY HILFIGER HOSTED A STAR-STUDDED BRUNCH AT MAXWELL TRIBECA

To celebrate the launch of the new Fall 2023 campaign and collection, iconic American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger hosted an NYFW brunch at the Maxwell Tribeca on September 10th. Co-hosting the event was Grammy-Award-winning artist and icon SZA, who stars in the new campaign. The brunch was a celebration of belonging and togetherness, in association with the theme of the new Fall collection. The Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2023 collection delivers styles that are inspired by classic Tommy house codes; the great outdoors and classic prep essentials. Definitive pieces and archival silhouettes are done in a contemporary twist, while signature brand prints and hues including the iconic Tommy Tartan, red, white, and blue, global stripe, and the TH Monogram, are redone throughout the collection.

In attendance were Hilfiger’s and SZA’s chosen families and loved ones, as well as emerging stars from the worlds of fashion, art, music, entertainment, and sports including Coi Leray, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Babyface, Central Cee, DDG, GloRilla, Jalen Green, La La Anthony, Madelyn Cline, Quavo, Rachel Sennott, Remi Bader, Summer Walker, and Yung Miami.

JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER AND KNWLS HOSTED A PARTY WITH SSENSE TO CELEBRATE COLLABORATION LAUNCH

Jean-Paul Gaultier and London-based brand KNWLS released their highly anticipated collection on September 8th and hosted a private party in New York with luxury retail giant SSENSE. The new collection includes an array of tops, jackets, pants, and dresses, that combine the fierce femininity of KNWLS with the punk rebellion glamour of French fashion house Jean Paul Gaultier. Pieces are derived from both the Jean Paul Gaultier and KNWLS archives, referencing some of the most iconic garments. Numerous looks from the collection will arrive on the KNWLS runway during London Fashion Week later this month.

Guests at the event included friends of Jean Paul Gaultier, KNWLS, and SSENSE such as Charlotte Knowles, Doja Cat, Ice Spice, Julia Fox, Coi Leray, Central Cee, Doechii, Matty Healy, Maeta, Offset, Saweetie, The Kid LAROI, Tinashe, Aleali May, Flo Milli, Gabbriette, Hayley Williams, Richie Shazam, Selah Marley, Susanne Bartsch, and more. DJ sets from Fashion LaBeija and Flirty 800 were blasted through the night.

LACOSTE CELEBRATES 90TH ANNIVERSARY WITH ROOFTOP PARTY AT NINE ORCHARD

Lacoste celebrated the brand’s 90th birthday in the form of an extravagant rooftop party at the Nine Orchard Hotel in NYC on September 9th. Known for its chic athleisurewear, the French-born Lacoste brand has continued to be a pioneer in fashion. Creative Design director Pelagia Kolotouros delivered her creative vision for the brand worn by celebrities in attendance such as Venus Williams, Irina Shayk, Devonté Hynes, Sang Woo, Adesuwa Aighewi, Cindy Emelie, Jeon Somi, and Amoako Boafo.

Additional guests that arrived in style included Joey Bada$$, Indira Scott, Olivia Lopez, Deon Hinton, Serayah, Delaney Rowe, Lauren Chan, Woldy Reyes, Sabina Schreder, and Stretch Armstrong.

MCM & MARY J. BLIGE CELEBRATED THE BEST IN FASHION AND MUSIC AT THE MCM FLAGSHIP STORE IN SOHO

German luxury fashion house MCM and legendary music icon Mary J. Blige presented a toast to the best of music and fashion with a star-studded evening with an honorary guest: MJB’s Sun Goddess wines. Taking place on September 6th, attendees of the special event were submerged in MCM’s past to present while relishing in a curated selection of Sun Goddess wines.

Dipped in fashionable attire were friends of the MCM brand and Ms. Blige, including her fellow Power star Michael Rainey Jr., Fabulous, Karrueche Tran, Dave East, Zack Lugo, Dapper Dan, Misa Hylton, Fivio Foreign, Kenzie Ziegler and many more.

Montblanc’s Newest Collection “The Library Spirit Of New York” Was Celebrated With An Array of Stars

Montblanc celebrated the newest brand campaign and leather collection “The Library Spirit New York” at Stephan Weiss Studios on September 6th. The venue was transformed into an exclusive space that artfully combined the Maison’s classic elegance with the electric energy of New York. Guests of the Montblanc brand included influencers, celebrities, and Montblanc executives such as Penn Badgley, Adrien Brody, Keith Powers, Chloë Sevigny, Alex Pettyfer, and more.

The event was complete with cocktails and a special performance by world-renowned DJ, producer, and performing artist Peggy Gou.

YSL BEAUTY AND AUSTIN BUTLER CO-HOST A MEMORABLE EVENT FOR “MYSELF” FRAGRANCE

In honor of the newly released “Myself” fragrance, YSL Beauty and its newest brand ambassador and campaign star Austin Butler hosted a special event on September 6th. Held at the Paradise Club at The Edition Times Square, this iconic event embodied the essence of the YSL brand and modern masculinity.

The celebration was accompanied by a vast guest list including actress Taylor Momsen, actor Xolo Mariduena, rapper, singer, and fashion icon Lil Nas X, and TikTok star Noah Beck. “Poland” rapper Lil Yachty was also in attendance, where he provided guests with a captivating performance.
