On those crisp, perfect fall weekends, it seems that everyone is looking to be outdoors—and you never know where a little wandering might take you. For those strolling in Soho on October 24 or 25, they had the opportunity to experience a weekend pop-up from Ami Paris.

The Parisian house designed two kiosks for the limited-run event. One was situated in Petrosino Square, the triangular park between Spring and Kenmare streets, which is ideal for people watching and embracing fall foliage. The other kiosk was situated four blocks west at Spring and Greene which is the home of Ami’s flagship location.

At either venue, passersby could enjoy complimentary croissants, coffee, and a branded newspaper. But the fun wasn’t confined to the kiosks. An interactive game allowed for an afternoon of adventure. Ami Paris designed a virtual program that served as a scavenger hunt. Once participants located hidden objects within the interactive experience, they were invited into the flagship to redeem a special prize. The game—and the physical popups—were inspired by the neighborhood of Soho and linked the flagship’s location to a season that seems destined for exploration.
