An Icon On A Mission: Madonna Announces Global “Celebration” Tour

Industry heroine and international celebrity, Madonna, is amping her creative agenda to the next level.

Piggybacking her venture to Miami Art Basel for the premiere of Steven Meisel’s “Sex” with Saint Laurent Rive Droite, Madonna’s next mission is one that pays homage to her revolutionary film Truth or Dare with a highly anticipated global tour. This upcoming Friday, January 20th and 27th, at 10 am local time, Madonna will launch the ticket sales for the “Celebration” tour, proving to all industry aficionados that she still holds the title of best-selling female solo touring artist of all time. Announced in an iconic viral video with celeb faces such as Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Eric Andre, and additional culminates with Amy Schumer, who all dared the global superstar to go on tour and perform her unmatched catalog of music from the past 40 plus years.

“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” shared Madonna.

Celebrating four decades of hits, Madonna’s tour will kick-off with, 35-city global tour will kick off in North America on Saturday, July 15th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, with stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and more before making its way to Europe where she will hit 11 cities throughout the fall, including London, Barcelona, Paris, and Stockholm, among others. The Celebration Tour will wrap in Amsterdam, NL, on Friday, December 1st at Ziggo Dome.
