Angèle Is The New Face of Chanel’s 2021 Eye Makeup Campaign

The Belgian singer has been a Chanel ambassador for two years – and the relationship is going strong.

Belgian singer, Angèle, is the new face of Chanel’s 2021 Eye Makeup Collection. Her simple yet elegant style has made her the perfect representative of Chanel’s classic couture looks and beauty products.

A Chanel ambassador since 2019, Angèle’s relationship with the luxury house first began when she wore Chanel Haute Couture to the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, she has been the face of two other advertising campaigns: the Spring-Summer 2020 Eyewear collection and the Chanel Coco Beach 2021 Ready-to-Wear line. She also attended the Chanel Fall-Winter 2021-2022 Ready-to-Wear show as an ambassador.

The 2021 edition of Eye Campaign is an encouragement of self-expression. The ultra-resistant, long-wearing products will be available in a variety of new shades, including shades that are soft and ideal for defining the eyes, as well as warmer shades.

A cult favorite, the “Stylo Yeux Waterproof”, will now come in seven new shades. They will be released in the new campaign alongside the “Le Volume De Chanel Waterproof” mascara and two new shades of “Les 4 Ombres” eyeshadow.

Angèle became an international pop sensation following the success of her debut single “La Loi de Murphy” in 2017. Her debut album, Brol, was the best-selling album in France in 2019. Since then, she has collaborated with pop superstar Dua Lipa, further launching her career.

An activist as well as a musician, Angèle has frequently used her platform to champion causes close to her heart. Her single “Balance ton Quoi”, which criticizes everyday sexism, has become something of a feminist anthem. Recently, she became a sponsor of the KickCancer Foundation and she has also spoken out in support of the fight against climate change.

However, she is certainly open to branching out into other industries.

Angèle will be making her big screen debut alongside Marion Cotillard and Adam Driver in the musical film Annette, which is set for release later this year.

The campaign for the 2021 Eye Makeup Collection, photographed by Solve Sundsbo and for which Angèle also composed the music, will launch this month.
