Anitta Becomes Face of Adidas Originals’ NMD V3 Silhouette

Accompanying the drop is an evocative campaign mavericked by Brazilian megawatt celebrity Anitta.

Calling all sneakerheads.

Previously in 2015, footwear conglomerate Adidas caused havoc in the sneaker world with the one and only reveal of their original NMD silhouette, taking hints from the brand’s inimitable archive. Six years later, on August 16th, the blueprint initiated its homecoming with an updated take on the original cutting-edge innovator channeling the same mindset to the present-day NMD V3.

Accompanied by an evocative campaign that champions those creating a culture in every corner of their cities, such as multi-hyphenate Brazilian popstar Anitta, Argentinian DJ and producer Bizarrap, and French footballer Karim Benzema. The campaign’s vibrant visuals encourage everyone to “create new paths.”

With a grateful nod to those who respect past Adidas history while also staying current on upcoming drops, the latest silhouette in the NMD family stands proud as a future icon created for the rebellious explorers forging the cities of tomorrow. Reimagined with a distinctly forward vision, the NMD V3 is crafted for a life in motion.

Dynamic by nature, the silhouette features a re-engineered mesh that wraps around the foot, a transparent heel clip, and BOOST cushioning that’s partially encapsulated in a TPU shell. The NMD V3 also comprises an upper made with a high-performance yarn that contains at least 50% parley ocean plastic (reimagined plastic waste intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities, and shorelines) and 50% recycled polyester.

Arriving in an array of progressive color schemes, the NMD V3 is available now via Adidas.
