Anitta’s “Amor Real” is a Remix on Mary J. Blige’s Classic Hit

The Brazilian singer brings the tune for Target’s new holiday campaign.

Global pop superstar, Anitta has been tapped for Target’s new holiday campaign; releasing a Spanish take on Mary J. Blige’s classic hit, “Real Love.”

Following a hot summer of fiery anthems like “Me Gusta” featuring Cardi B and Myke Towers, Anitta’s remix, “Amor Real” is a cool winter tune. Showing the versatility of the artist and growing anticipation for her forthcoming album, Anitta just made an appearance at the MTV European Music Awards. On a socially distant red carpet, the Brazilian singer’s platinum-blond bob was paired with a black Dolce Gabbana ball gown. She had the honor of presenting the final award for the night, the winner for Best Video.

With stunning videos herself, sizzling since her V Digital Cover: Anitta’s American Dream, —which can be viewed by clicking here— the artist has amassed 140 million streams with “Me Gusta.” Plus another 67 million cumulative streams for single “Tócame,” featuring Arcangel and De La Ghetto.

But with winter around the corner, she is sharing the spotlight with the holidays. Anitta welcomes listeners to “Amor Real” with the lyrics, “Real love (Yeah) / Buscando Amor real (Contigo) /Alguien para ver mi corazón.” She continues singing, “Real love (Ah, ah-ah)/ I’m searchin’ for a real love (Contigo) / A real love…” These lyrics featured in the Target campaign below and can be listened in full, here.
