Another Album From David Bowie’s Archives is Available to Stream Now

The album was recorded during a live performance in 1999.

A live album from the archives of David Bowie has just been released. The 15-track album, titled Something in the Air, was recorded at the late musician’s 1999 show at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris.

The show was one of seven full performances to promote his upcoming Hours album during that year. At the same time, Bowie was also awarded France’s greatest artistic honor, the Commandeurs of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Bowie’s estate has released other live albums from his shows throughout the years, including LiveAndWell.com in May. With Something in the Air, however, the album was recorded in one night during one performance rather than across multiple venues.
