In honor of Pride Month, Apple has released a Pride Edition Sport Band for its watch along with a matching watch face and wallpaper. Through this collection, Apple aims to celebrate the advancement and protection of LGBTQ+ equality.

Apple supports various LGBTQ+ organizations such as the Equality Federation Institute, an advocacy accelerator building a network of state-based LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations in the U.S., and GLSEN, an education organization working to end discrimination, harassment, and bullying based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Other organizations supported by Apple include Gender Spectrum, Human Rights Campaign, the National Center for Transgender Equality, The Trevor Project, and more.

While designing the watch band, the Apple team chose to use geometric shapes on a white base, using the original pride flag rainbow colors. Five other colors are added, including black and brown to symbolize Black and Latin communities, in addition to those living with HIV/AIDS. Light blue, pink, and white represent transgender and nonbinary individuals. Notably, no two bands are exactly alike, and the iOS wallpaper and watch face feature dynamic shapes that circulate and move with the user.

The new Pride Edition Sport Band is available for purchase both at apple.com and in stores. The wallpaper and watch face can be downloaded from the Apple Store App.
