Ariana Grande Is Now Engaged to Dalton Gomez
The announcement came via Instagram (of course).
Ariana Grande surprised fans on Sunday with some huge news: she and Dalton Gomez are now happily engaged. The pop star made the announcement via an Instagram carousel of photos of the couple, along with the caption “forever n then some.”
Among the photos, the artist showcased a diamond and pearl ring, which fans are speculating was made with the same pearl from a ring she got from her grandmother a few years ago – which was originally from Grande’s grandfather’s tie pin. Luxury jewelry retailer Denis Stepansky told Entertainment Tonight that the oval diamond looks like it is about 5 carats, which would be worth between $200,000 and $250,000.

Gomez works as a luxury real estate agent at Los Angeles-based company Aaron Kirman Group and, according to the agency’s website, he was born and raised in Southern California and has worked in the field for five years. The two have been seen together since at least February, and he even made a special appearance on the singer’s quarantine collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Stuck With U.” The couple has been isolating at Grande’s Los Angeles home and if her latest album, “positions,” serves as any clue, they seem to be getting through this period perfectly fine.
The announcement came just a few hours before Grande’s “Sweetener” concert film, “excuse me, i love you,” dropped on Netflix this Monday. Fans reacted on social media:
