Cementing the iconic status of her most recent hit "thank u, next", Ariana Grande, at no surprise, has officially delivered the video of the year. Spending the past month teasing fans and followers with imagery from the video, Grande's final cut does not disappoint and in fact, delivers way more than expected.

Taking on the personas of teen cult heroes Regina George, Torrence Shipman, Jenna Rink, and Elle Woods, Grande takes us through her break up track one verse at a time, crafting moments of pure pop-culture glory and goes one step further by inviting familiar faces from the movies Mean Girls and Legally Blonde as well as the likes of Troye Sivan and Kris Jenner to revel in the nostalgic confection.

Some highlights (so this read isn't a total spoiler fest) are: Ariana re-inventing the Plastics' "Jingle Bell Rock" dance as stage mom Kris Jenner is camera ready and getting her freak on in the audience, Jennifer Coolidge reprising her role as Paulette Bonafonte and making the "bend and snap" the official dance for the track, and Kris Jenner ending the video cheerfully saying, "Thank u, next, bitch".

I've already watched this video four times and if I'm being honest, each time it gets better and better. As an artist who has grown up in front of our very eyes and has faced several adversities throughout her very successful career, Ariana Grande isn't afraid to unapologetically show and fearlessly love who she really is. Ariana, you are my hero, and for gifting me and the entire world this iconic as fuck video, I will sing your praises until the day I die.
