Armand de Brignac Toasts the Launch of Their New Champagne
Champagne wishes and caviar dreams took center stage at a dinner hosted by the prestiged champagne label just before New York Fashion Week.
On a warm New York evening at the beginning of September, a notable cast of individuals welcomed the newest and rarest addition to Armand de Brignac. It was a fitting occasion to pop some bubbly as the event marked one of few that rang in the ever. It was the first and only opportunity in the United States to taste the blends of Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Three (A3).
A total of 3,535 bottles have been released worldwide and guests, including director Dee Rees, actors Jeremy O’Harris and Ilfanesh Hadera, and many others, had the exclusive chance to sample the champagne. Winemakers Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier led an immersive and informative tasting in a darkened area. The intentional separation allowed guests to focus solely on the champagne.
During the cocktail hour, the brand’s legendary Gold Brut cuvée was served from behind the black velvet bar. Just as the champagne continued to flow, guests began to flow into the dining space to find their designated spot at the 50-foot long table. Hundreds of candles lined the center of the table beneath a decadent floral installation as plates were filled with peekytoe crab, citrus pearl caviar, roast duck and foie gras—the party setup of our dreams, honestly.
The night took a delightful turn with a surprise performance from Victory Boyd concluded was the grand finale of the evening. As the event came to a close, the soulful beats of her music accompanied the aromatic taste of Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Three (A3).
Yes, Fashion Week has arrived once again—let’s raise a glass!
