They’re not hard to find around town—the Monte Carlo Country Club is right on the water—but for the best views, you have to go up in the mountains outside town. It’s a three-hour walk to a lookout spot called ‘Tour de la Tête de Chien’ [which means ‘dog’s head trail’ in French]. You can see all of Monaco and the whole of Côte d’Azur.”
