After showing her Spring/Summer 2020 collection modest New York showroom last season, Astrid Andersen is now back and hitting the London Fashion Week runway. This season, Andersen showed her signature basketball-branded hoodies in a lightweight raglan sleeve with leopard print accents and dip-dye variations. Combining the world of sports and luxury, the Danish designer is using luxe and sports-inspired fabrics to create a line of ultimate high-fashion-meets-streetwear essentials.

While Andersen’s heavy use of fur in garments can be challenged, the Copenhagen-based creative justifies the use by the real stuff being more sustainable than the vegan alternative. But will the fashion connoisseur and eco-conscious consumers understand and support Andersen in her beliefs? Only time will tell.
