On November 30th, watch making powerhouse Audemars Piguet revealed an exciting new partnership with artist extraordinaire Travis Scott’s brand Cactus Jack. The collaboration between Scott’s brand and record label and the renowned watch manufacturer came to full fruition as Cactus Jack transformed Audemars Piguet‘s boutique in New Yotk City after a brief closure, with the grand reopening taking place this past week with guest having the privilege of getting a sneak peek at the star of the collaboration–the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked “Cactus Jack” Limited Edition timepiece. The event also featured a collection of clothing and accessories to be exclusively sold on the Travis Scott website.

With the collaboration seeing the debut of the “Chocolate AP”, a Royal Oak watch model crafted in brown ceramic, a signature color for Cactus Jack, fans of both the musician and watchmaker can expect features that include white gold hexagonal screws and a sapphire dial titled Calibre 5135 with design elements that include custom typography for the calendar and week indications, with the day subdial mirroring the brand’s logo.
The moon phase at 6 o’clock is a visual spectacle, deviating from the conventional representation. Here, Cactus Jack’s emblematic smiley face, with its mouth sewn shut, takes center stage, glowing blue in the dark. Other calendar indications, excluding the week indication, illuminate in a green hue at night.

Adding to the uniqueness is the debut of a textured calfskin leather strap, a first for the house. The strap is complemented by a pink gold folding clasp engraved with the dual signatures of “Audemars Piguet” and “Travis Scott.” The brown ceramic and sapphire caseback are also engraved, but this time with details such as “Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar,” “Limited Edition of 200 Pieces,” and “Utopia is a state of mind” – a nod to Travis Scott’s latest album.
“Watchmaking, to me, is the ultimate combo of engineering, fashion, tech and design—a harmony of precision, craftsmanship and perfect timing.”
