AYA MUSE RESORT 2023 TAKES INSPIRATION FROM BEES AND NATURE

New collection featuring supermodel Elsa Hosk is a sustainable dream

Welcome to the hive. This season for Aya Muse is all about the natural world—and bees, to be specific. For the 2023 resort collection, designer Tina Rodiou took inspiration from the relationship bees have with nature, mimicking their work style in the creative process to represent the brand’s interconnection with their community.

From three-piece suits to earthy knitwear sets, each piece in the collection owes its namesake to a different species of bee. Like the insect, Aya Muse’s focus is on building foundation, dedicating their work to long-lasting, sustainable creations that are just as true to the brand as they are representations of their wearers. Each clean, eye-catching silhouette is full of texture that boasts keen attention to detail, a parallel to the natural beauty of Earth kept alive by some of the smallest creatures.

As seen on supermodel Elsa Hosk, a standout look of the collection is a barely-there bottle-cap dress, a luxurious piece despite its unassuming material. With a deep, swopping neckline and uneven edges, its exquisiteness is tangible proof of power in sustainability.

The collection’s knitwear is another sustainable vision: tops and skirts made from hand-woven Naia yarn, a material made from recycled fishing nets. Aya Muse commits to similar eco-friendly practices in the rest of their work as well, sourcing 90% of all collection materials from natural or recycled origins. In their chosen manufacturing sites, factories are small, ethical, and free of single-use plastic.

The three-piece suit is another collection highlight, neutral-toned looks of recycled wool and polyester. The set includes a blazer, pant, and bra top, all clean cuts that round out the collection nicely.

Aya Muse is changing the game of luxury sustainability, and it’s a sight you won’t want to miss.
