After months of teasing, the 150-piece collaboration has hit shelves



Bad Bunny and Zara present BENITO ANTONIO, a collection rooted in the personal world of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—the instinct that has guided him, the identity that has defined his work, and the perspective that has shaped everything he touches.

The announcement of this partnership with the fast-fashion giant didn’t come completely out of nowhere. The Puerto Rican artist had already chosen the Spanish brand for two major, high-profile public appearances: first, during his Super Bowl halftime show, and more recently on the Met Gala red carpet, where he transformed into an older version of himself, wearing a custom black tuxedo of his own design, developed alongside Zara. On May 16, before any official announcement had been made, Zara transformed its store at Plaza Las Américas in San Juan into a dedicated pop-up space, giving Puerto Rico the first opportunity to experience the collection in person ahead of the rest of the world. Benito made a surprise appearance that same afternoon.

Created alongside his longtime creative director Janthony Oliveras, the 150-piece collection was built around a single guiding principle: Benito’s personal style.

Every detail—the silhouettes, the colors, the graphics, the fabrics, and the fit—was approached with intention and instinct, with nothing included to chase a trend or fit a formula. The pieces reflect the way Benito has always dressed: effortless, expressive, and fully his own, moving between tailoring, oversized essentials, textured separates, graphic statements, and summer pieces, all designed with the same sense of confidence, individuality, and ease that has long defined his style.

“My role was to bring Benito’s style to life as it exists today, not last year’s, not next year’s. Right now,” says Janthony Oliveras. “Being so close to him gave me a real sense of certainty: with every new piece we created, I could genuinely picture him wearing it. By the second trip to A Coruña, when we had the first samples in hand, I knew we had captured his essence.”

More than a collaboration, BENITO ANTONIO is a reflection of Benito’s identity, his creative evolution, and the perspective that has always made his work impossible to ignore.

“There’s something very special about this collaboration, it’s the coming together of two different worlds united by language and Zara gives us the opportunity to share that globally in a way that feels accessible to everyone. I want people to feel like they’re stepping into a dream. I want them to understand that simplicity doesn’t have to mean boring. Seeing this collection finally out in the world means everything to me, it feels like my baby.”
