Bad Bunny Teams Up With Crocs
Glow-in-the-dark clogs anyone?
Are Crocs cool again? Yup! Unabashedly rocking a pair of the semi-retro polymer shoes does require a distinct cool-factor. Recent years have seen platform crocs, crocs and streetstyle, crocs and party dresses. Now, Crocs have partnered up with singer Bad Bunny for a new glow-in-the-dark iteration.
The Bad Bunny Crocs come in the classic Crocs silhouette. They are all white, save for a yellow bunny logo in place of the brand’s signature smiling crocodile. The shoes also come pre-adorned with glow-in-the-dark Jibbitz charms. One is the singer’s bunny logo, another a planet. There are a number of stars, and even a flame charm. Crocs’ Head of Global Marketing Heidie Cooley promised that the clogs would “stand out during the day and excite at night with an eye-catching, glow-in-the-dark twist.”
The collab drops today on Croc’s website and they have a price tag of $60. It’s yet to be seen how young fashionistas will pull off this pair, but Bad Bunny is well known for his daring looks, so it follows that any item with his name on it would have to be equally as unique. The shoes take a fun, classic-style and make it impossibly more fun, so we wouldn’t be surprised if these kicks end up being the hot new nightlife look.
