Balenciaga turns winterwear into a high-fashion performance. The Spanish house has released a new 2025 Skiwear collection featuring high-performance athletic gear that fits both alpine adventure and urban endurance.

Designed through a technical lens, each piece combines thermoregulating outerwear, aerodynamic shapes, and advanced material innovation—hallmarks of the House’s precision-driven design, fit to protect and comfort every wearer.

But Balenciaga’s ski day extends far beyond the slopes. The campaign, shot by photographer and videographer Aidan Zamiri, follows models après-ski through the bustling streets of Paris in the collection’s convertible skiwear. The cutting-edge, yet practical silhouettes are built to withstand both the intensity of a snow day and the rigors of the city. Reversible puffer jackets and gilets, hooded and high-collar parkas, nylon and fleece zip-ups—the collection prepares the wearer for every element. Pieces are lined and coated in water-repellent fabrics; some use Aquazip® technology, others the Recco® rescue system.

Accessories include limited-edition mirrored snowboards and skis, an impact-absorbent helmet, lightweight poles, sheen black Mask goggles, and bags of iconic styles reimagined—the Explorer Backpack, Rodeo, and Le City bags take a bomber-style shearling-lined calfskin or fleece-lined suede.
