Ready to hit the slopes in style?

Balenciaga’s newest collection debuts a wide range of winter sports products that are designed in the form of advanced ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, equipment, and gear. The house used innovative materials and techniques designed for visibility, insulation, aerodynamics, and protection, creating the perfect winter sportswear lineup. Staple Balenciaga signatures are blended within functional athletic objects including a snowboard, skis, a helmet, and poles for downhill, cross-skiing, or hiking.

Clothing is offered in Parkas and cargo pants in membrane-bonded technical ripstops with integrated snow skirts, sophisticated ventilation systems, battery life-saving pockets, and ski pass holders. Ready-to-wear-like jeans are impervious and fleece-lined in blue stretch denim. Outerwear is in the form of jackets and vests in quilted matte nylon, as well as five-pocket ski pants in bonded stretch nylon and close-fitting fleece jackets that are reminiscent of Balenciaga’s Hourglass and Puffer silhouettes. Thermal garments fit for layering include hoodies and long-sleeved half-zip tops in heavy molleton, fluffy knits, fisherman-ribbed wool, and mink-style faux fur.

Elsewhere, accessories are delivered in padded gloves coated in durable ripstop that can be clipped to jacket sleeves, as well as a ribbed knit beanie with sunglass lenses meant to fold over the eyes. To stand the test of brisk weather, leggings, socks, facemasks, gloves, and scarves in several shapes and materials are concocted for warmth and marked with a sporty, reflective Balenciaga logo.

Equipment comprises a pole-attachable Ski Backpack and Ski Belt bag, adorned with pockets for goggles and made from water-repellant recycled nylon. Where footwear is concerned, the collection offers the Alaska Boot, a shoe developed for arctic conditions and covered in nylon, leather, or faux fur and thermally lined. The 3XL Ski Sneaker is a snow-capable version of the original 3XL, designed for winter elements.

The Balenciaga Snowboard and Balenciaga Skis come in two sizes, both decorated with the Balenciaga logo on their bases in white and the nose of their mirrored Titanel top sheet marked with a sporty B logo. The collection’s helmet is made in collaboration with protective wear supplier Briko and is available in three sizes. The Ski poles are available in two sizes while hiking ski poles are in one. The majority of the collection is painted in shades of black, white, grey, or red.
