Following his runway debut as Balenciaga’s Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli unveils his first campaign for the Spanish house, captured by David Sims, a longtime collaborator and kindred eye. Shot inside l’Hôtel de Maisons–Pozzo di Borgo (51 rue de l’Université, Paris 7ème), one of the city’s most lavish Parisian manors, Mona Tougaard and Sandra Murray inhabit the space with grace, reclining on sunlit beds framed by 18th-century walls.
Set against the grandeur of Parisian neoclassical architecture, the campaign transforms the small details and fragments of one’s daily routine into something sublime. The luminous interiors frame Piccioli’s belief that beauty is emotion and that authenticity carries more power than perfection.

“For my first campaign for the House, I wanted to create something that felt truly personal and could tell a story of effortless beauty and delicate humanity,” Piccioli shared. “Working with my dear friend and artist, David Sims, made it even more special. Together, we captured Mona and Sandra as they are: spontaneous, real, soft, yet strong, a reflection of the new Balenciaga woman and the beginning of a chapter that feels deeply meaningful to me.”
Two longtime icons appear in the campaign: the Rodeo and Le City bags. Reimagined through Piccioli’s vision, the Rodeo captures effortless everyday ease, while Le City embodies timeless practicality.
