Banana Republic is partnering with New York-based fashion designer Peter Do this fall in their new capsule collection. The two have combined their innate understanding for form and function to create a sleek, high quality line. 

Peter Do honors the legacy of Banana Republic, pulling inspiration from the label’s past designs and compiling a multifunctional and sophisticated collection of pieces. The ready-to-wear garments and accessories reflect both brands in their own unique way, embracing the tonal colorways of Peter Do while remaining true to the signature tailoring and craftsmanship of Banana Republic -the result: a perfect wardrobe for fall. The line plays with texture and fit, boasting an assortment of cozy knitwear alongside silk shirting and tailored outerwear.

Banana Republic is in the midst of a transformation as a label – adapting its brand to reflect the public’s new love for old styles and motifs, and this collaboration comes as an effort to revive the past with a modern eye. 

BR x Peter Do will officially launch in select BR stores and online in October.
