Young talent is celebrated at Beckman’s College of Design Stockholm, whose reputation as Sweden’s leading design college landed them a spot at Paris Fashion Week. From bold takes on modern classics, to eclectic new styles, 11 students showed off their range of talent, presenting collections that pushed the boundaries of contemporary fashion.

Designers presented include Britta Åsåker, Christina Leube, Erika Haglund, Filippa Agaton, Marte Stensrud, Mathilda Guve, Siri Gertonsson, Niklas Gustavsson, Ronja Berg and Yanis Dorey and the new brand Elvylw by Emma Wåhlin.

Beckman’s takes pride in promoting creative and artistic growth alongside an attentiveness to society and development. During Paris Fashion Week, a showroom at Institut Suédoise is the stage for the 2021 graduation collections. A process based in research and questioning, students completed everything from formulating an idea to constructing the garments, depicting what they want to contribute to the industry and giving us a peek into the future of fashion.
