Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2019…So Far

Stormi Webster takes after her mama and Demi Lovato pulls a double feature.

As we all know, Halloween is the best holiday. No awkward family dinners or expensive gift-shopping, only candy, costumes, and an excuse to party. Not only that, but once you’ve hit adulthood, Halloween lasts an entire weekend (or in some cases, two), instead of just one night. That’s twice the opportunity for a show-stopping costume! Needless to say, celebrities, with their endless supply of time, creativity, and resources, know how to dress up for the occasion. Here are the best celebrity costumes from this past Halloweekend:

Nina Dobrev and Lane Cheek as the Chanel runway crasher and Gigi Hadid

Nina Dobrev definitely wins for the best culturally relevant costume. She and her friend recreated the iconic moment at the Chanel Spring 2020 show where French humorist Marie S’Infiltre crashed the runway and Gigi Hadid escorted her off.

Jessica Biel as Justin Timberlake and Justin Timberlake as a microphone

Despite admitting that she didn’t know any NSYNC songs on Jimmy Fallon, Jessica Biel dressed as her husband during his boy band days, and JT was her microphone.

Ciara and Russell Wilson as The Carters

Ciara and husband Russell Wilson went all out for Halloween, dressing up as Beyoncé and Jay Z in 2018’s “Ape$#!%” music video, instead of posing in front of the Mona Lisa, they chose to honor a portrait of the Obamas. Epic.

Tracee Ellis Ross as Red from Us

Tracee Ellis Ross got her whole TV family involved for one of her costumes. The Blackish cast dressed as The Tethered from Jordan Peele’s Us.

HAIM as Hanson

HAIM dressed up as another all-sibling three-piece band, donning blonde wigs and even braces to dress up as Hanson. Maybe next year they’ll be the Jonas Brothers?

Gabrielle Union as an East Compton Clover from Bring It On:

Not every celeb can say they brought it, but Gabby Union definitely can! Union and her daughter brought some cheer to Halloween in their matching Clover uniforms.

Cardi B as a nurse:

Although we wouldn’t trust Cardi’s bedside manner, the fashion-forward rapper certainly makes a smoking hot nurse.

Missy Elliott as Herself

Legends only. For Halloween, Missy Elliott recreated her very first album cover from over two decades ago, and we have to say, she hasn’t changed a bit!

Bretman Rock as Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory:

The YouTube makeup guru certainly blue up this Halloweekend. Dare we say we need another remake?

Halsey as Marilyn Manson:

Halsey and Evan Peters paid tribute to goths everywhere with a joint costume of Marilyn Manson and a juggalo (remember, the mid-2000s, meme-worthy metalheads?) The spooky fit strikes just the right balance between sexy and scary.

Heidi Klum as Fireworks

FIREWORKS ???? ????❤️????

A post shared by Heidi Klum (@heidiklum) on

We all know Heidi Klum is the patron saint of celebrity Halloween, and she did not disappoint! For her first costume of the season (oh yes, there are more), the star dressed up as fireworks, coating herself in bombastic glitter and neon sparkle.

Stormi Webster as Kylie Jenner’s Met Gala Look

What better way to make your mama proud? Little Stormi dressed up as her mother’s flamboyant Met Gala costume, complete with wig and lilac feathers. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Ashley Graham as Jessica Rabbit

It takes a bold woman to pull off a Jessica Rabbit costume, and no one is better suited to the task than Ashley Graham. The model stunned in red latex even with a baby bump!

Nicki Minaj as Harley Quinn

Watch out Margot, there’s a new Harley in town! Can anyone pull off the iconic villain’s crazy energy quite like Nicki Minaj? Daddy’s little monster, indeed.

Nina Dobrev as Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish was no doubt one of the most popular costumes this year, but few executed her as well as Nina did!

Demi Lovato All Weekend Long

Last but not least, Demi Lovato turned heads with not one but two over-the-top costumes. First, as the decadently beautiful Marie Antoinette and then as a creepy clown doll. A special shoutout to her “glam team” Etienne Ortega and Paul Norton for fixing her with these extravagantly spooky looks!
