Here Are The Best Dressed Women At The 98th Oscars

The Academy Awards celebrated cinema, but the red carpet delivered a spectacle of fashion worthy of its own runway
The 98th Academy Awards red carpet was filled with winners — both onstage and in fashion. From custom couture to looks straight from the runway, the night delivered no shortage of memorable style moments. Among the many striking appearances, a few outfits stood apart, earning the title of best dressed of the evening.
While presenting an award, Demi Moore also delivered one of the night’s most captivating red carpet moments. She wore a custom gown by Gucci featuring a strapless silhouette adorned with black and green iridescent feathers that faded into a soft gradient. Completing the look was a Vendôme Liseré Sleeper set with blue emerald-cut tourmalines, pavé diamonds, white gold, and black lacquer, paired with a Vendôme Liseré ring.

Kristen Wiig also wore Quatre Classique necklace, set with brown PVD, paved with diamonds, on yellow, pink, and white gold, a Snake ring, set with 19.16 carats oval citrine, on yellow gold, and a Quatre Classique XXL cuff, set with brown PVD, paved with diamonds, on yellow, pink, and white gold.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore the Serpenti Illusio high jewelry necklace from Bvlgari, which took over 1,300 hours to make. The 14.01-carat antique cushion-cut sapphire is from Madagascar and was crafted from 235 elements.

Anne Hathaway completed her red carpet look with high jewelry from Bvlgari. She wore the house’s Neoclassical Starlight necklace, centered on an 8.02-carat pear-cut yellow diamond prized for its rare, even color distribution. The luminous stone anchors the design, its warm hue amplified by the surrounding diamonds and precise setting, creating a piece that felt both timeless and striking under the red carpet lights.

Elle Fanning gave bridal energy in her custom bustier corseted tulle dress from Givenchy by Sarah Burton. She tied the look together with off-white satin sliced bow sandals.

Zoe Saldaña wore Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello to the 98th Oscars. Her black silk satin and lace dress, paired with chandelle platform sandals in satin crepe, created a simple yet elegant look for her.

Chase Infiniti wore a custom Louis Vuitton lavender silk gown. The multilayered waterfall frills fell perfectly, paired with her La Beauté Louis Vuitton Ombres in Cosmic Dream and Beige Memento, and LV Rouge Kiss the Sky allowed her to keep her look playful.

Nicole Kidman wore a Chanel powder pink silk crepe bustier dress with an embroidered top. The peplum was adorned with light beige, pink, and nude feathers that also had a gradient effect at the bottom of the dress.

Teyana Taylor wore a long black and white chiffon gown from Chanel, which was entirely embroidered with black and white glass pearls, crystals, and black and white feathers.

Jessie Buckley kept it chic in a light pink bustier chiffon dress from Chanel. The red satin stole added just enough contrast to the gown, which made her big win of the night even sweeter.

Gracie Abrams also wore Chanel, but opted for a darker color scheme. She wore a navy blue silk tulle top covered in black sequins with a navy blue silk crepe skirt. She tied it all together with a navy blue chiffon scarf.

Kirsten Dunst wore a bustier tiered dress from Celine in black triple silk organza and black pumps in patent calfkin.

Felicity Jones wore a Prada pastel yellow stain gown that had a wide train in pleated soleil tulle, embellished with tonal crystals and white pearls. She wore leather sandals and a silver leather bag.

Audrey Nuna performed in a custom white tuxedo from Maison Margeila. The suit was inspired by look 53 from the co-ed SS26 collection, and paired with white leather heel-less pumps.

Emma Stone wore custom Louis Vuitton to the 98th. Her gown was a white hand-embroidered empire-cut gown, and she wore matching sandals. She also wore the Ombres Eyeshadow palette in Beige Memento from La Beauté.
