Here are some of our favorite “Welcome 2021” looks.

Goodbye 2020, hello 2021! This was certainly an unusual New Year’s Eve for most of us, with all the big traditional parties around the world cancelled and celebrations restricted to our home. But that doesn’t mean we couldn’t welcome the year ahead rocking cool outfits – and that was especially true for famous personalities, of course. Take a look at some of our favorite celebrity NYE looks:

Lizzo

Lizzo ringed in the new year in a chic black strapless slit dress, contrasted with a long hot pink wig. “If you found growth, I’m proud of you. If you found yourself shrunken, I’m proud of you,” the artist wrote on Instagram about the past year. “Because this year was about survival.”

Saweetie

Saweetie rocked at least four different outfits on New Year’s Eve – including a sheer black ensemble and multiple chains for her pre-recorded Rockin’ Eve performance – and welcomed 2021 in a multicolored Elie Madi dress.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani sported a bleached denim on denim ensemble along with a shimmery silver bikini top and white boots for her NYE performance.

The singer welcomed 2021 in a golden bikini top and matching skirt paired up with over-the-knee rhinestone strap shoes. “new year’s resolution: apply the pressure,” she wrote on Instagram.

Hailey and Justin Bieber

The “Stranger Things” star celebrated NYE in a delicate white dress with ruffle sleeves and sheer details. She completed the look with pink makeup and space buns. The actress took the opportunity to look back on 2020 and share a message of hope. “I’m leaping forward into 2021 with optimism, faith in the human spirit and our collective will to carry on,” she wrote on Instagram.

BLACKPINK

The four members of Kpop group BLACKPINK all opted for delicate NYE looks: Lisa appeared on Instagram in an off-white sweatshirt and showed off her pink nail designs, while Jennie wore a black vest over a sheer blouse with puff sleeves. Both Rosé and Jisoo sported tulle skirts, with Rosé in a forest fairy-like look with butterflies over her hair while Jisoo went for a white pearl headpiece and a cloudy cardigan.
