It's every college student's dream to go to school without wondering how they'll pay their tuition. Today, eight deserving students have seen that dream fulfilled by none other than Ms. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

Shortly after her momentous Beychella performance, the queen of modern music introduced her second merit scholarship program (her first, the Formation Scholars Program, was announced in the spring of 2017). Called the Homecoming Scholars Award Program, the initiative will fund the educations of students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. All HBCU students with a 3.5 GPA or above were eligible to apply. Finalists were selected by committees from each school and were eventually narrowed down to the eight names revealed by BeyGOOD, Beyoncé's philanthropic team, earlier today.

A few of the Homecoming Scholars tweeted out their gratitude, warming the hearts of everyone on the Internet.

We're thrilled to see Bey using her platform for good. Not only will these students be able to make their academic dreams a reality, but they have officially attained bragging rights for life.
