Beyoncé Is Back With Ivy Park And Adidas

Adidas and Bey are collaborating on a few projects

Queen Bey and German sportswear brand Adidas are teaming up for a new launch of the singers brand, Ivy Park, as well as a footwear and clothing line.

Since launching Ivy Park in 2016, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s athleisure wear has reached a deserving cult-status amongst a diverse demographic and is sold in various online and in-store retailers from ASOS to Topshop. This year’s relaunch will be done under the Adidas name, although Knowles-Carter will keep full ownership of Ivy Park. Alongside that, there will be a separate footwear and apparel collaboration between the two, and both are equally as thrilled for the joint work.

“Beyoncé is an iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators,”  Eric Liedtke, who is an executive board member, told WWD. Adidas made a point of mentioning their respect for Beyoncés accolades and to reassure the public that they wouldn’t interfere with her creative and business, or “her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.”

As for Beyoncé, she said it was “the partnership of a lifetime for me.” The release date hasn’t been set yet, but we can hope to see at least a preview this year.
