ICYMI: Last night in Cardiff, Wales marked Beyonce and Jay Z's first official performance on their "On the Run II" world tour. As the name suggests, the tour is the highly-anticipated sequel to their original 2014 "On the Run" tour, which they embarked upon together shortly after the release of Beyoncé's eponymous album that undeniably shook the globe to its core. Although they've only performed one show, it's safe to say that they've outdone themselves already.

Take a look at some of last night's most epic moments, and get yourselves caught up on how the music industry's queen and king are shaking things up this time around.

  1. They entered on an elevator.

Á la 2014 Met Gala style, the lovers entered the stage in what appears to be an open elevator. A tongue-in-cheek reference to one of the couple's biggest controversies of all time, it's clear that the duo are not shying away from airing aspects of their dirty laundry.

2. The Twins

In a visual between songs, audience members were treated to a peek of Beyonce and Jay Z holding twin babies, widely rumored to be Rumi and Sir Carter. Although these rumors have yet to be confirmed, with the text, "Love is Universal" and "Love Never Changes" alongside the babies, it appears that the visual is at least an homage to their new children.

3. They renewed their vows.

In a video interlude towards the end of the show, the massive screens cut away to a home video of Beyonce and Jay Z renewing their wedding vows. This year marks their 10-year anniversary of their marriage, and especially in the wake of the cheating rumors and scandals that arose in the fallout of "Lemonade", it seems that the bond between the couple are better and stronger than ever.

4. Looks

As if this even comes as a surprise — looks were served. From a head-to-toe Gucci number to an interstellar, holographic Balmain outfit, Beyoncé performed dripping in couture.

5. The Merch

"The Fight", "The Lies", "The Heartbreak" — nothing's being held back when it comes to the merch. With hoodies detailing Jay Z's rumored infidelity, to t-shirts that define what "fuckery" means, it's obvious that ideas for the merch were born out of some of the couple's most difficult moments. But as they say, honesty is always the best policy... right?
