Irrefutably, Beyoncé is the contemporary queen (Bey) of the music industry — and now she is also about to be the queen of the Pride Lands.

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Disney made its major announcement of the full cast of the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King, confirming intense speculation that Beyoncé will in fact voice leading lioness Nala. The recording artist joins already announced star Donald Glover, who will portray the titular lion king Simba, meaning the world will finally get that Childish Gambino/Beyoncé collaboration that we so desperately need (albeit not in musical form).

With the news of Beyoncé's casting, it was also revealed that comedians Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Eric André, Keegan-Michael Key, and John Oliver will be featured in the ensemble, James Earl Jones will revive his role as Mufasa, and Chiwetel Ejiofor of 12 Years a Slave will voice Scar. In a notable feat, 11 of the 14 stars announced today are people of color.

The film is one of the many that Walt Disney Studios plan to roll out in their massive collection of live-action remakes including releases like this year's Beauty and the Beast and the forthcoming adaptions of The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, and Aladdin.
