Beyoncé just may be the hardest worker in the music industry. Only months after concluding her landmark Lemonade era and giving birth to her now-iconic twins Sir and Rumi, the artist has gracefully invaded tracks from other artists, hopping on a remix of J Balvin’s hit “Mi Gente” and guesting on Eminem’s new single, “Walk On Water.”

Now, Queen Bey has joined redhead vocalist Ed Sheeran for a duet revamp of his latest smash hit, “Perfect.” She takes over the second verse of the sweeping acoustic ballad, changing it to reflect the female perspective and transforming the song into a classic romantic duet that expands upon Ed’s signature fare. In typical duet fashion, the two vocalists collide toward the song’s conclusion and beautifully harmonize throughout.

While this pairing may come as a random surprise on paper, this is actually the third collaboration for Yoncé and Ed. The pair first performed a tribute to Stevie Wonder in 2015 during the “Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Salute” program. Later that year, the British songwriter joined the “Get Me Bodied” hitmaker for an acoustic rendition of “Drunk In Love” for the Global Citizen Festival. At this point, we may want to brace ourselves for an entire duets album. Listen to their latest below.
