The Golden Globes never fails to recognize big names in the film, television and music industries, and last night was no exception. The 79th annual awards show—this year held as a private event and not aired on NBC due to controversy surrounding the Hollywood Foreign Press Association—had 25 categories with nominees ranging from household names to emerging talent. Among the list of winning A-list celebs were Billie Eilish taking home the title of Best Original Song, Andrew Garfield for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy and Nicole Kidman for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama. Notable TV shows and movies include Squid Game, Dune, West Side Story and Succession, which took home three Golden Globes.
