Billie Eilish’s new single, “Therefore I Am” premiered less than an hour ago, and nearly 500,000 people that tuned in. With a live count down, fans blew up the chatbox with love for the artist, and eventually, she greeted them politely, with a mask on. “Hello people, we got 20 seconds to go,” she said before the song began to play…

Directed by the 18-year-old, the video was shot in the deserted Glendale Galleria shopping mall. As she galavants around her old teenage stomping grounds, she sings, “I’m not your friend / Or anything damn / You think that you’re the man / therefore I am.” The beat drowns out before she switches it up with “Stop what the hell are you talking about? / Get my pretty name out of your mouth.” This lyric is sure to be a hit on Instagram. The groovy rhythm makes it easy to pick up on the next verses. The video will be featured on the Viacom Times Square billboard.
