Pharrell Williams’s luxury streetwear brand, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC), is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, hosting worldwide events throughout June at its flagship stores in NYC, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
BBC began in 2003 after soft-launching the brand with a BBC t-shirt in the Frontin’ music video. Partnering with NIGO, Pharrell has been inspired by Japanese and American street styles rooted in music culture.
To mark its two-decades-long existence, BBC released a special edition reprisal of its very first t-shirt. Made in Japan, the garment consists of 360 GSM cotton in an effort to elevate the classic style. The Anniversary Edition BBC JPMADE OG Logo Tee is available for purchase on the BBC20 webpage. Stay tuned throughout the year as more limited edition items are released which will ultimately curate a full BBC20 collection by the end of 2023.
For the next Paris Fashion Week, the BC EU division will host a special Satellite Diner event with a menu inspired by the classic American diner. There will also be exclusive merch available during the week. BBC hopes to continue inspiring creatives by continuing to partner with emerging artists and musicians around the world.
