Following 2015's Vulnicura which charted the painful dissolution of her marriage, Björk has finally announced her next album in a scrawled Instagram message. Moving away from themes of deep loss and suffering on her last album, like the 10-minute long "Black Lake" which was shown in a dual screen installation the Museum of Modern Art during their retrospective of the singer (with lyrics like "My soul torn apart/My spirit is broken"), this new album instead will "[explore] her subsequent search for utopia," according to her feature in Dazed.

"This is like my Tinder album," she said in the feature. "It's about being in love. Spending time with a person you enjoy is when the dream becomes real." The album will see her team up again with Vulnicura producer Arca, who she describes as "the strongest musical relationship I've had."

The as-yet untitled album is available for preorder on the singer's website.
