Black Mirror Releases Season 5 Trailer

The next season of Black Mirror officially has a premiere date as season 5’s crazed sci-fi trailer reveals an all-star cast including Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie and That 70’s Show's Topher Grace to name just a few of the both familiar and iconic faces gracing shared Netflix accounts everywhere.

Charlie Brooker, the creator behind the Netflix phenomenon, gives a deeper look into his fifth dystopian anthology series, confirming that this season will consist of just three episodes in contrast to past seasons comprising of six. In addition, Brooker revealed a full cast list prior to the premiere for the first time, which includes the following: Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Topher Grace, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport and Ludi Lin.

The trailer offers another glance at a world of futuristic technology and its terrifying impact it can have on society. The words “love", "privacy", "connection", "sex", "family", "work", and "afterlife” flash quickly throughout the preview, giving a chilling excitement for what’s to come. One thing's for sure: V don’t want to miss the series premieres Wednesday, June 5 on Netflix.
