Blackpink’s Lisa stars in the new campaign for Celine’s first Haute Perfumie. Last year the K-pop beauty was announced as the brands global ambassador, and last December announced as the face of Celine’s new Haute Parfumerie. “To me, Celine is unrivaled, and Hedi Slimane has such a multifaceted talent — from clothing design to photography. He creates this rare, incredible, and desirable world through his vision. I’m always inspired by his work. It’s truly an honor and pleasure to be able to work with Hedi as Celine’s ambassador.” Commented Lisa.

Shot in the South of France the brand new campaign video and images were shot by Celine’s Creative and Artistic Director, Hedi Slimane. The Video sees Lisa descend a staircase mixed with soft focus frames of Lisa riding in a Rolls-Royce. We’re then teased with glimpses of the perfume rotating slowly interspersed with shots of a crystal chandelier, and Lisa looking demure, reclining on a gold bed frame. The Rapper/Singer is dressed in black sequins, a ruffle dress, and beaded crystal gown. The campaign conjures images of the morning after, and the night before. “I think the best way to remember passing moments is with scent. Even if the experience fades, traces of photos and scent linger for some time. Sometimes, when I want to bring back memories of a day, I will sprinkle the perfume I wore on a photoshoot. And I can feel the happiness in my skin as if I’m reliving it,” said Lisa.

The soundtrack to the campaign is the iconic ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ by the Velvet Underground. Inspired by Lou Reed’s first great love. The track is true to Slimane’s aesthetic which references musicians from the 60’s.
