Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa of the infamous K-Pop girl group, Blackpink, recently disclosed that their latest single Pink Venom is soon to be released! Appearing on the group’s much anticipated second album, Born Pink, the single is set to drop on August 19th at 12 am EST.

Earlier this month, the Korean superstars took to Instagram to share three back-to-back snippets revealing the time frames in which this news will coincide with a pre-release single in August (check), followed by the album drop in September, and a world tour beginning in October. The group’s release of Pink Venom follows close behind the debut of their Ready For Love music video in collaboration with PUBG Mobile.

Blackpink has recently been established as the highest-ranking female Korean act on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with their 2020 single “Ice Cream,” and on the Billboard 200, ranking at number two with “The Album,” which was reported to be the highest-selling album by a Korean girl group of all time. The unstoppable group was the first to enter and top Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart and the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart three times, creating a K-pop phenomenon.
