Blazers You Need For Any Occasion

The clothing item every girl boss needs.

If you ask anyone I know, they will most likely bring up the fact that I wear an excessive amount of blazers—and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I love blazers so much that I own around 15 pairs, simply because I enjoy a blazer’s versatility, relaxed fit and the fact that it will always stay on trend. No matter if it’s to class or for a night out, you will most likely see me wearing one with either a slip dress or baggy denim. And even with my growing collection, I will forever be a firm believer of needing more than one blazer, and think everyone should be too.

For blazer aficionados like myself, here are the must-have blazers you need this fashion season.

Zara Plaid Blazer

Plaid is one of our favorite prints this season, making it one of the reasons why a plaid blazer needed to be on this list. When I first saw this Zara blazer, I knew it had to be my next purchase. Some of its features include shoulder pads, a lapel collar and front welt pockets for a business-meets-casual look. Not only is it affordable in price, but it can easily be worn over a comfy sweater for the day-time or on its own for the night.

Djerf Avenue It Blazer

Like most Instagram users, I too am jealous of Matilda Djerf’s hair and style. Her clothing brand, Djerf Avenue, replicates her feminine and classy style with clothing items that will last season after season. One of the first items she released was the It Blazer—a cropped, boxy-style blazer that can be “thrown over any item in your closet.’’

Musier Paris Jacket Candice

To emulate the French-girl look, a red lip and oversized blazer is a must. Musier Paris, a brand founded and based in France, makes this easier to achieve. Perfect for the fall, their Candice Jacket comes in a cool emerald green color with pin-stripe details that goes well with their Edith Pants. And to bring the entire look together, the blazer features extra large shoulder pads and an oversized fit.

The Frankie Shop Bea Blazer in Melon

You’ve most likely heard of The Frankie Shop because of their wide selection of blazers, especially their iconic Bea Blazer. Much like your standard men’s blazer, the Bea Blazer is a hip-length blazer with a boxy silhouette. Not only is it available in a variety of colors, such as this bright melon and your standard black, but also in a sleek leather fabric. The fit being oversized is an understatement, so we recommend sizing down a size or two.

Danielle Guizio Leather Blazer

Everyone needs a solid leather jacket in their closet. Beloved by Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid, Danielle Guizio sells all of your favorite wardrobe staples, ranging from bagging low rise jeans to satin corsets. One item I’ve had my eye on is their black leather blazer, which has a slightly edgy vibe, a welt chest pocket at the front and a relaxed silhouette.

Mirror Palasis Classic Blazer Celadon

Mirror Palasis is a brand for all of the it-girls. Founded by Marcelo Gaia, every item in their collection is handmade and designed in New York City. This oversized blazer, in particular, is made from 100% celadon silk for a lux and buttery feel. And with it being beige in color, this blazer can pair perfectly with your favorite mom jean, black pants or with its matching trouser that has a unique heart-shaped back pocket.

Jacquemus La Veste Belted Blazer

Jacquemus always reminds me of a European getaway. Much like the other blazers on this list, their La Veste blazer is oversized and relaxed in fit. But what makes it stand out amongst the rest is the belted detail around the waist to make it appear more slim-fitting. Although high in cost, this is the kind of blazer that will never go out of style.
