After years of ups and downs and almost zero hints of a reconciliation, Blink 182 shocked fans earlier today with news of their quick-to-launch worldwide tour. Beginning in Latin America on March 11th, 2023, the infamous punk band will circle back to North America, hitting Chicago, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Florida, and more before wrapping up (America) on July 16th in Nashville. Outside of the U.S, the world tour will slip nicely into 2024, officially concluding on February 26th, 2024, in New Zealand. Ticket sales will be released this Monday, October 17th, at 10 am local time via the Blink 182 website. In case this ticket sale passes you by, the band will also drop in on the 2023 edition of Chicago’s Lollapalooza and the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas.

It keeps going. This upcoming Friday, October 14th, after nearly a decade, Blink will drop their latest single, “Edging,” featuring historical band leader Tom Delonge. After departing from the group in 2015, the bassist and singer will reunite with drummer Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus for this massive world tour. Back in August, speculation rose when Delonge shared a photo to Instagram featuring Barker and Hoppus, though Hoppus was quick to jump on the line rebuking all rumors and stating that the band was, in fact, not reuniting. But, wow, was that a lie.

Since Delonge’s 2015 exit, he has become somewhat of a scientific maestro, being categorized as the world’s most famous UFO researcher and director of the upcoming sci-fi film Monsters Of California. During that period, Mark Hoppus sadly contracted cancer, though thankfully recovered, and we all know what Travis has been up to. Apart from his famed romance and Portofino wedding to none other than Ms. Kourtney Kardasian, the drummer has since worked with numerous hip-hop groups and is a frequent collaborator with the late DJ AM.
