Blumarine Pre-Fall 2023 Collection is an Ode to Punk-Rock Femininity

Creative Director Nicola Brognano rewrites the story of the Blumarine woman

Blumarine Pre-Fall 2023 Collection is an ode to confident and unapologetic women all over the world. Nicola Brognano – creative director of the Italian brand since 2019 – is inviting you to embrace your most rebellious inner self and enhance your individuality.

The collection tells a story of freedom. The Blumarine woman walks away from conventional pastel hues, resisting gender norms and choosing a path of dark, cold colors. Along her journey, she dives into shades of black, gray, and military green, with flashes of acidic green and saturated pink, entering the space of seductive punk rock.

Brognano revisits the world of denim, giving the fabric new meanings. From overdyed dark denim with a dirty, worn-out effect, to skintight tops and multi-pocket midi skirts, he encourages you to leave behind all you ever knew about trends. Of course, our favorite oversized cargos couldn’t be missing in our Blumarine closet and Brognano pairs them up with small, round-cut cropped bombers.

The list of our must-haves for the season goes on with the under-the-knee cropped cargos, puffy and low-slung – inspired by the famous Y2K knickerbockers – which Brognano has crafted both in overdyed velvet and denim.

Blumarine is also giving you the perfect chance to show off your sensuality with its slinky, bodycon long dresses made in liquid jersey crêpe or sheer jersey in tones of pearl gray, black, light green, and baby pink. To top off the outfit, there are enveloping coats in furry wool and irresistible shoulder bags in Nappa leather with cargo-style big pockets.

Clad in her gladiator sandals with metallic stiletto heels, the Blumarine woman is only one step away from a long-awaited universe where style becomes an attitude, and trends become tools that set her free.
