The NYC-based luxury brand, MONSE has taken its recent FW20 collection, ‘Happy Punk’, and loosely implemented the elements of velvet, deconstructed wool, and tartans into the Paris-based footwear brand, Both. MONSE’s co-creative directors and founders, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, are now the latest designers to reimagine two of Both’s signature boots. 

For this collaboration, the duo designed The GAO High Boot in variations of black, army green, red, and white with the signature, MONSE logo creatively placed at the counterpart of the shoe. While the GAO Thigh High has been given a chic makeover, available in black and white, and a utility belt of sorts wrapped around the thigh. Noticeably, Both boots have the clean 100% rubber outsole the footwear brand is known for, while the rest of the shoe is crafted from 100% calf leather. The minimal aesthetic of Both proved a fun challenge for the creative directors of MONSE.
