Bottega Veneta Launches “Bottega for Bottegas” Project

Bottega Veneta hands their platform over to 12 selected Italian bottegas as a way to bring worldwide visibility and support to their work.

One way to describe Bottega Veneta? Italian culture. Heading back to their cultural roots, all while stepping out of the spotlight, Bottega Veneta is supporting the creativity of Italian bottegas through the “Bottega for Bottegas” project. As a part of the project, the brand has selected 12 bottegas across Italy to bring global visibility (e.g. advertising spaces, website, newsletters, store windows) and brand awareness to them and their produce.

In translation, the term “bottega” refers to the creative communities that have contributed to what the brand calls “the unique appeal of ‘Made in Italy.’” Each of these bottegas have equally worked to achieve this, and were chosen based on their local realities, uniqueness of produce and global distribution capacities. The 12 selected bottegas include:

Amatruda, Campania

Cantina Bisson, Liguria

Enza Fasano, Puglia

Gay-Odin, Campania

Ginepraio Gin, Toscana

Krumiri Rossi, Piemonte

Pastificio Martelli, Toscana

Bottega Orsoni, Veneto

Riso Pozzi, Lombardia

Respighi Drums, Lombardia

Olio Vanini, Lombardia

Saponificio Varesino, Lombardi

Every holiday season moving forward, Bottega Veneta will hand its platform over to a new set of bottegas. Both online and in participating Bottega Veneta stores, the brand will be removing its products and logo to feature, highlight and promote their work. Customers will then be redirected to each bottega’s website to shop and support.

“We are thrilled to launch Bottega for Bottegas alongside Italian artisans with whom we share the common values of creativity and craftsmanship,” said CEO of Bottega Veneta, Bartolomeo Rongone. “We are proud to offer worldwide visibility to these “Bottegas” that are deeply rooted in Italian culture, specially at a time where smaller entities continue to be impacted by the pandemic.”
