Bottega Veneta Revives 2004-Inspired Tote—The Campana

Featured in the hands of brand ambassador Julianne Moore, the newest luxury tote is destined to be autumn’s signature intrecciato accessory
Another signature Bottega staple is on the horizon, setting the autumn uniform expectations as artisinally chic and quietly luxurious. The Bottega Veneta intrecciato woven leather bag goes back in time, taking on a new shape as the Campana tote, inspired by another one of Spring 2004.
As featured in the second wave of the house’s “Craft is our Language” campaign, the imagery itself rests in the palms (literally) of a star-studded cast—Brand Ambassador Julianne Moore alongside Dave Free, Guo Jing Jing, Marcantonio Brandolini, Ritsue Mishima, Tyler Okonma, Vittoria Ceretti, and Yo Yang.

Under the guise of the house’s newly appointed Creative Director, Louise Trotter, the Campana is an archival callback with a contemporary twist. The unassuming, rounded silhouette features an unlined capacious interior that easily molds to the wearer’s body, staying true to the Veneta house codes of supple adaptability and movement. Offered in two sizes and two smooth leather and Intrecciato variations, the feattuce woven strips are made slightly wider for heightened fluidity and smooth motion.
Acting as the perfect oversized shoulder piece for the no-label luxury, trending wardrobe, the Campana is the newest silhouette in the Bottega handbag family to covet.
