Aston Martin’s DB12 model has managed to get a little more luxurious by partnering with the high-end British speaker and headphone company Bowers & Wilkins. These two iconic British brands have teamed up to craft the 2024 DB12 featuring a state-of-the-art surround sound system developed by world-class engineering teams.

The partnership is the second of its kind for Bowers & Wilkins, having worked with BMW to design bespoke sound systems for their vehicles as well. Their work with Aston Martin comes as no surprise, as both brands hold similar values in regard to high performance and technical innovation.

The DB12 audio system was created by pinpointing the ideal location, direction, and symmetry for the speakers built into the vehicle’s interior. The high-resolution listening experience is well-matched in the DB12, as it’s been dubbed the world’s first Super Tourer and is the perfect pairing for cruising around the world.

First announced at the Cannes International Film Festival, Aston Martin and Bowers & Wilkins’ collaboration hints at the future of high-performance and luxury cars.

The Bowers & Wilkins audio set-up is optional in the DB12. However, with its 15-speaker, double-amplified 1,170-watt surround sound system, you would be remiss to opt out of such an acoustically significant experience. All of this is done so to create a uniquely immersive experience for drivers and passengers alike.

The groundbreaking audio system is in good company with the DB12, as the car boasts exceptional performance and is built to satisfy even the most demanding drivers with a chassis engineered for a class-leading 680PS/800NM V8 Twin-Turbo powertrain.
